About company
ISFILA was founded in 1992 by a group of well known Turkish philatelists. It operates out of two floors in a building in the popular district of Nişantaşı in İstanbul. One floor is for holding auctions and one for the office. The Turkish Federation of Philatelic Associations and the Istanbul Philatelic Association also function at this address. Our aim is to promote Turkish and world philately, through the execution of various activities that will generate respect for the ISFILA organisation. 


OUR ACTIVITIES: 
Auctions
ISFILA organises between 5-6 auctions each year. The dual aim being to provide material that will strengthen philatelic collections, and make sellers happy at the same time.

Stamp Sales
ISFILA sells stamps at it's offices and via the internet. The aim being to make Turkish stamps popular both at home and abroad.

Expertise
We recognize that it is highly desirable to have stamps and all philatelic material with expertise certificate on purchase. In addition, it is clearly easier to sell your collection if it has been expertised. ISFILA is the only organisation in Turkey, that has the authority to issue expertise certificates for Turkish stamps, postal history and other philatelic material. This authority has been granted through a protocol signed between the Turkish Federation of Philatelic Associations and ISFILA.

Publications
ISFILA is sponsoring the publication of articles and books on Turkish philately.
