In the WAG (Westfälische Auktionsgesellschaft für Münzen und Medaillen oHG)
2 companies operate together who otherwise run their own coinshops. These two companies cooperate at auctions and offer collectors a high efficiency by combining their manpower and competence.
The WAG offers coins and medals practically of all time periods and collective areas but the main focus is clearly within Germany and central europe. The auction catalogs and stock lists which are published on a regular basis contain everything of interest for the collector from rare talers and ducats to well priced minor coins.
Over the last 50 auctions the society was able to auction many famous and quoted collections. Traditionally our special strengths are the collecting areas of Brandenburg/Preussen, Saxony, Thuringia and the Middle Ages but we have also held important auctions in the collecting areas of Bavaria, Brandenburg/Franconia, Hamburg, Münster, Schleswig-Holstein, Waldeck and Württemberg. This high numismatic standard will be expanded in the future.

The two associates
Udo Gans, Arnsberg / Heinz-Günther Hild, Soest
are members of the prestigious "Verband der deutschen Münzenhändler" (organisation of the German coin dealers). The WAG is member of the International Association of Professional Numismatists (IAPN). The WAG is associated to a licensed recycling system.
