1925. Mixed franking with Chinese stamps and surcharged stamps of the USSR. A supplementary letter was sent on 05/27/1925 by the famous Russian and Soviet traveler P.K. Kozlov from Kalgan (China) to Petrograd (06/17) to another famous Russian and Soviet geographer A.P. Semyonov-Tien Shansky. Interesting text; "Tomorrow we say goodbye to China and go through the Gobi Desert to Urga .." , explorer of Mongolia, Tibet and Xinjiang [1]. He made six long expeditions to Nan Shan, Sichuan, East Turkestan, Mongolia and Tibet. Author of about 70 scientific papers. Discoverer of the dead Tangut city of Khara-Khoto. Pupil, follower and one of the first biographers of N.M. Przhevalsky. Full member of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR (1928), honorary member of the Russian Geographical Society. Very rare mixed franking with the stamps of China and the USSR.
