Depicted are a steel helmet, a bayonet, and a facsimile of the 6 Rpf stamp issued in September 1939 for the return of Danzig to the Reich.
The card sold for 15 Rpf.
The illustrated Werbestempel (publicity slogan cancellation) postmarked 7 January 1940, Halle (Saale), has the same design as the cachet and was used in thirteen other towns on the 6lh and 7lh.
