After WWI, Russians Residing in Egypt became stateless inasmuch as the Egyptian and British Governments did not recognize the Russian Communist Government. The Egyptian Government Retained a skeleton of the Russian Consulate in Alexandria. The White Russians Remaining in Egypt Were Obliged to Register Annually at the Exconsulate and today Modest fees for Documentation.
