1949 (May 20) single registered cover sent from Hangchow to Peiping, franked on reverse with 1949 Hangchow Surcharge on Dr. SYS Gold Yuan issue Shanghai Dah Tung print, $1 on $1 orange, vertical strip of 3 with imprint right margin, and 1949 Postal Runner & Train issue, Tientsin print, $5 brown, horizontal pair with top margin and imperf. right margin, tied by three strikes of Chekiang Hangchow (6B) 1949.5.20 cds, two PEIPING arrival cds’s dated 1949.5.18 and 1949.5.20 respectively, also affixed with a registration remnant, with some red ink spots on front.
