InterAsia Auctions' principals bring a tradition of excellence, expertise and client service, unrivalled in China and Asian philately.

Dr. Jeffrey Schneider, internationally recognized expert in Chinese and Asian philately and senior member of the British Philatelic Association Expertising Committee, brings over 30 years of professional experience in the philatelic auction business, having previously been an Associate Director with Christie's and a principal of the Swiss Auction firm Corinphila, where he also directed their joint venture in Asia with Sotheby's. Before founding InterAsia Auctions, Dr. Schneider was managing director of Zurich Asia, a Hong Kong auction firm, since 2000, as well as Senior Vice President of Matthew Bennett, Inc., its U.S. parent, after Matthew Bennett's acquisition of Zurich Asia in 2003. He became intimately involved in Asian philately initially through preparing Christie's specialised sales of China and other Asia in Switzerland beginning in 1983 and later starting and directing their stamp auctions in both Hong Kong and Singapore. Dr. Schneider has auctioned many of the greatest Chinese and Asian collections of our era, including the remarkable Beckeman, Hock, Ellery Denison, Richard C.K. Chan, Ireland, Indhusophon and M.F. Huang collections. He has also written an number of books and articles about the stamps and postal history of the Ching dynasty, based on his own ongoing philatelic research.

Cecilia Vong, InterAsia Auctions' other Director, is InterAsia Auctions' Business Affairs Manager. She previously worked with professional and service firms and had been administrative manager and client services coordinator with another Hong Kong auction company. Ms. Vong is a First-Class Honours graduate of the University of Hong Kong and speaks Cantonese, English, Mandarin and Portuguese.
