The company Schwarzenbach Auktion Zürich was founded in 1980. It is run by its owner over all the time, located in the centre of the main economic city of Switzerland. The auctions are held twice a year.
The main staff of Schwarzenbach Auktion Zürich consists of three persons: Hans R. Schwarzenbach, owner, postal historian und philatelist; Robert Egli, administration, finances und philatelist; Andrzej Zbojnowicz (named Herr André), akquisition und philatelist.
Together, we represent over 120 years of experience in professional philateliy! 62 successfully auctions were held in the meantime. During the auction days our well-known crew grows up to 20 persons.
We are well-known for our low starting prices. The average hammer price is in general about 2,5 times the starting price. Each position is sold by itself; we do not know any remaining ones.
The follwing languages are familiar to one of us: German, French, English, Italian, Spanish and Polish.
