New Zealand Mint has issued a new set of coins as part of their Disney Classics Coin Collection. The new release is dedicated to the famous film called “Alice in Wonderland”, which was created in 1951. The set of four silver coins has the same title as the 13th full-length animated film has. Each coin is made of 999 fine silver and weighs 4 x 1 Troy oz. The diameter of every coin is 40 mm. Each coin denomination is $2. All coins have a common obverse, which is a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. However, every coin has a unique reverse. Each of them features a central character from the story. As it comes from the information provided by the New Zealand Mint, only 10.000 sets have been released, and they are now available for purchasing, so don’t miss your chance to acquire one of those in your collection!
