1924 (July 21) “On His Britannic Majesty’s Service” envelope sent locally in Tientsin, re-directed to Chefoo, franked with on front 1914-18 First Peking print Junk issue, 4c. scarlet x 2 and 1923 Second Peking print Junk issue, 1c. ochre, horizontal strip of 3, tied by six strikes of TIENTSIN 1 1924 July 1 cds, a rectangular “Tientsin East Road Post Office/R/No. 340” registration rubber handstamp alongside, on reverse with CHEFOO 23.7.24 arrival cds and a postman chop alongside. Very scarce Tientsin rubber registration handstamp.
