1944 (May 19) registered airmail cover sent from Mapa, Kwangtung to U.S.A., franked on reverse 1942-44 Dr. SYS issue Central Trust print, $5 pinkish red, block of four, and 1942 Dr. SYS issue, Pacheng (Engraved) print, perf., $4 blue, horizontal pair, tied by four strikes of Kwangtung Mapa 1944 May 19 cds, MIAMI FLA. JUN 30 1944 and SACRAMENTO, CALF. REGISTERED JUL 2 1944 arrival cds’s, both in magenta, on front with KWEILIN 23.5.33 transit cds, an unframed “DHF/18” censor handstamp in violet. Cover opened and resealed with “OPENED BY EXAMINER P.C.90” censor label, tied by “PASSED DHF/4” crowned octagonal handstamp, fine.
