1947 (Oct. 24) double registered airmail cover sent from Hoihow, Kwangtung to U.S.A., franked on reverse 1946 Dr. SYS issue, First Shanghai Dah Tung print, $5,000 vermilion & green, vertical strip of five and one single, and 1947 Dr. SYS issue, Fourth London print, $2,000 red brown & blue, with left margin, all tied by seven strikes of Kwangtung Hoihow (Kiungshan) 1947 Oct. 24 cds, CANTON 26.10.47 transit cds, an illegible U.S.A. cds of OCT 30 1947 and SACRAMENTO CALF. OCT 31 1947 arrival cds, both in magenta, on front with an encircled “A.R.” handstamp.
