Deutsche Seapost, Australian main line on a postcard addressed to Germany September 1911. The cancel shown on the postcard was first used on August 13, 1886, on a Norddeutscher Lloyd mail steamer that sailed from Bremen to Australia. This cancel was used until 1914. The Reichspost Dampfer Goben was an Imperial Mail ship operated by Norddeutscher Lloyd on their Australian Route. The cancel number used on this ship was the letter 'O'.
