From 18.7.1924 mail was exchanged in Kaunas (Kowno) for mail to and from Lithuania. Airmail from Berlin was sent with with Deutscher Aero Lloyd, Junkers Luftverkehr or Danziger Luftpost GmbH via Danzig to Königsberg.
