German Dienstpost cover with franked Scott Nos. NB1-NB6, cancelled in Luxemburg on 6 May 1941.
Eventually Luxemburg was annexed into the German Reich as part of the Moselgau Koblenz-Trier under Gauleiter Gustav Simon.
On 30 August 1942 German laws were introduced, and the Luxemburg army was annexed into the German forces.
