Cover with the censorship handstamp of the POW camp and the German handstamp of the censorship office in Berlin on the front. The letter was written on August 24, 1943 and arrived on September 26, 1943 according to the handwritten note on the back. Remarkable is the fact that Africa is (still) given as the sender, but the US is already given as the address. According to the content, a shipment was imminent. Note: On September 9th, 1943 the sender was still in Africa, as can be seen from later letters
